Join us at our next Connect With Coffee event for young professionals as FOCUS alum and board member Matt Menietti shares his experiences and lessons learned as Executive Director of GlobalHack.  Hear how he sets priorities, works with staff and board members, and creates a vision for the future. We’ll also explore how his leadership style has evolved since taking the position in 2015. Bring your questions!

This event is open to young professionals (ages 35 and under). Space is limited, and registration is required. Arrive at 7:30  a.m. to purchase coffee/breakfast; the program will begin at 8 a.m.

About Our Speaker

Before joining GlobalHack in 2015, Matt served as the Director of Operations and Venture Partner, respectively, for two nationally-ranked accelerator programs, Capital Innovators and SixThirty. He is a former AmeriCORPS VISTA member and an alum of the Coro Fellows Program in Public Affairs in St. Louis.

Matt is also a co-founder of an online resource-sharing tool for nonprofits called GoodMap, which won $30,000 in non-dilutive capital through the Youth Bridge Social Enterprise Competition in 2013. In 2012, he was named to the St. Louis Business Journal’s 30 Under 30. A St. Louis transplant, Matt is originally from Iowa City, Iowa, and holds degrees in electrical engineering and entrepreneurship from the University of Iowa.
