FOCUS Welcomes Fall 2019 Class of Coro Women In Leadership

Becky RasmussenAlumni, News

FOCUS St. Louis® is pleased to announce the 19 outstanding women selected for the fall 2019 class of Coro™ Women In Leadership.

The Coro Women In Leadership program offers women the opportunity to refine their leadership competencies, learn about the St. Louis region, and connect with other women from diverse backgrounds during this three-month program, held each fall and spring. Seminars and field days are held throughout the St. Louis region, giving participants the opportunity to visit various communities, interview leaders across sectors and observe different styles of leadership.

“This class brings together talented women from across the public, private and nonprofit sectors,” says Joani Alsop, Director of Learning and Coro WIL program trainer. “Our goal is that they leave the program with a deeper understanding of themselves and their goals, along with the knowledge, skills, resources and network to bring those goals to life in their careers and the community.”

Upon graduation, participants will join the network of more than 10,000 FOCUS program alumni.

Interested in being part of our next class? Nominations/applications are now open for our Spring 2020 cohort of Coro Women In Leadership; applications are due by Nov. 22, 2019.
