Overview
FOCUS St. Louis is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating a thriving, cooperative region by engaging citizens to participate in active leadership roles and to influence positive community change. The organization also functions as the region’s citizen league. With the support of nearly 1000 members and representing all 16 counties of the bi-state region, FOCUS:
Develops Leadership by providing cutting-edge program opportunities for civic and nonprofit leaders, executives, young professionals, high school students, and teachers.
Influences Policy by promoting region-wide dialogue and problem-solving, facilitating collaborative initiatives, convening task force groups, delivering recommendations to policy-makers, and advocating for positive community change.
Promotes Community Connections through activities that provide access to knowledge and decision-makers. FOCUS provides public events for people to explore regional issues and build the needed consensus to affect change in today's complex society.
