FOCUS St. Louis® is pleased to announce the individuals selected for the first class of FOCUS Impact Fellows. Launched in 2016 with support from the William T. Kemper Foundation, the program represents FOCUS’ most advanced offering and gives leaders the opportunity to work together to address a specific issue in the St. Louis region.

In addition to working toward a tangible outcome, program and/or solution, participants will gain considerable training and experience in change management, problem-solving, systems thinking and project management. While FOCUS Impact Fellows is new for the St. Louis region, similar programs in other cities have had significant success in facilitating positive and sustainable change on issues ranging from economic development to health to education.

The first class will be using the Ferguson Commission report as a guidepost and framework for their work. Our hope is that the FOCUS Impact Fellows, trained leaders with a passion for civic engagement, will commit their time and energy to a signature priority, developing and implementing a plan to bring it to life in our region,” said Felicia Pulliam, director of the program.

Beginning in March, the class will carry out its work over a 10-month period. For more information on the FOCUS Impact Fellows, or other FOCUS leadership programs, visit
