Thursday, November 19, 2015
FOCUS St. Louis, the region’s premier leadership organization, is now accepting nominations for its 2016-17 programs. In addition to expanding leadership skills, these immersive learning programs are designed to help participants explore and understand critical issues in the St. Louis region, while building relationships with a diverse network of leaders. Programs span the continuum from young professionals to senior executives and draw from the public, private and civic sectors.
FOCUS leadership programs include:
· Leadership St. Louis
· Coro Fellows Program in Public Affairs
· Coro Women In Leadership
· Emerging Leaders
· Experience St. Louis
· Diversity Leadership Fellowship
Program commitments vary from a couple of days a month to a full-time fellowship, as with the Coro Fellows program. While tuition is typically paid by the participant’s employer, scholarships and financial aid are available based on need.
Admission is competitive, and self-nominations are accepted. FOCUS programs strive to ensure that classes represent the broad diversity of the community, and nominations are sought and encouraged from all parts of the region.
