FOCUS St. Louis and the Urban Land Institute St. Louis are partnering to present the four-part series Building Healthy Places. This year-long series will examine the successes and challenges in creating a healthy community, the important role of talent and entrepreneurship, and emerging trends in this growing field. This series is aimed at community leaders interested in community development, the built environment and creating a healthy community. Join us for the second installment of this series!

Strong neighborhoods are the fabric of a healthy community. Walkable neighborhoods with a mix of income ranges and building uses have long endured in the St. Louis region while other neighborhoods have struggled. This forum will examine community regeneration from the perspective of local communities that are at various stages of regeneration. Come listen to these experts discuss best practices, lessons learned and new ideas that can help move communities forward.
