Make friends. meet nonprofits.
Connect with St. Louis, the ultimate meetup for young professionals, is back, and we're mixing it up a bit this year.
Based on feedback from past attendees, we're keeping all the great conversation and networking that takes place. So you'll still have time to catch up with friends, make new connections and learn more about young professionals organizations in our region.
But this year, we're also adding programming designed for young professionals.
- 5:45 to 6:15 p.m. - Primp Your Profile: How to Use Volunteerism and Board Service on your Resume, Sarah Dalton, Digital Marketer/Adjunct Professor, socialseconds.com
- 6:45 to 7:15 p.m. - Friendworks NOT Networks, Keisha Mabry, Chief Executive Friend, The Connection Curator, LLC
- 7:45 to 8:15 p.m. - Running a Better Meeting, Julie Lawson, Vice President of Programs, FOCUS St. Louis
As always, your $10 ticket ($12 at the door) includes two drinks and appetizers. You'll also receive a guide to young professionals organizations in the region that are looking to connect with people just like you. So, whether you're interested in serving on a young friends board, lending your talents to a committee or finding a hands-on volunteer opportunity, this resource will give you the info you need to get started. (If you represent a young friends group or nonprofit that would like to be included, see below!)
We'll also be in a new venue this year - the @4240 Building in the Cortex district. If you've been to VentureCafe before, this is the same space.
So purchase your tickets, tell your friends and make plans to join us!
Who will be there?
Here are the nonprofits and groups who will be on hand at this event. And they're looking to connect with young professionals just like you!
