Facing Ferguson/Facing Ourselves

Session II: Connect

Sunday, Oct. 12, 2014

2-4 p.m.

First Congregational Church of St. Louis

The purpose of this second session is - to get a deeper sense of where we are with the issues Ferguson has raised, to grow in relationships with each other and to develop skills to have conversations about the issues we are raising in our homes, workplaces and social circles.

In this session, we will:

  • Continue to explore the forces that shape the racial polarization in our region.
  • Provide much more time to talk with one another and less time listening to speakers.
  • Begin to identify key leverage points for change in our region.

Attendance at the first session is not required. The third session - and potentially work between sessions - will focus on action steps to activate those leverage points for change and setting goals for the future.

Please RSVP online.
