Digital change makers

5:30-7:30 PM
CORTEX - THE SHOWROOM

With support from the Missouri Humanities Council, FOCUS is pleased to announce the second of four forums exploring the connection between the humanities and current issues and events.

Are you interested in making social or organizational change happen? Well change is changing! The digital revolution is restructuring how social and organizational shifts happen. Want to know more about what that looks like in practice? Join us for a wide-ranging discussion on digital change making.

Visiting St. Louis from her native Berlin, Dr. Joana Breidenbach is an internationally recognized Cultural Anthropologist and Founder of Betterplacelab.org, a “think and do tank” that investigates the intersection of digital media and social well-being around the globe. See her TEDx talks here, including “Give me your data please!”

Joining her and connecting global trends in digital change making to local realities will be:

  • Paul Sorenson: Founder of Goodmap, a nonprofit resource-linking website based in St. Louis

This event is free and open to all, but space is limited to the first 60 registrants.

Schedule:
