THE EYES OF ME: Let's face it- high school can be brutal. The struggle to fit in, prepare for college and live independently. Step into the hallways of a unique high school and follow four students grappling with these usual teenage concerns all while being blind. Director Keith Maitland takes an extraordinary peek into their world where learning to cross an intersection, cook a meal or navigate an unfamiliar place can be much more difficult than any calculuc lesson.

Join us each month at the Missouri History Museum for free screenings of the Emmy Award-winning PBS film series Independent Lens, followed by audience-driven panel discussions hosted by Channel 9 producer Jim Kirchherr. No reservations are required. The series is presented by KETC/Channel 9 and the Missouri Historical Society, in collaboration with Independent Lens, ITVS and FOCUS St. Louis.
