STL Leaders Speak Out

What qualities do you expect to see in a highly effective leader?

I think that an effective leader, the first thing you need to do is to understand the process that they are leading. I don’t think you can lead unless you really understand what your goals and objectives are, and you understand the skills and the abilities with the people that you have to deal with. It doesn’t have to be in just an employment kind of situation but in a global-political leader. You have to know your stuff. I think the most impressive leaders are the people that you have confidence in that they know their stuff, and they know the resources they need to get accomplished what they need to accomplish.-Charles Stewart (43 sec.)
