ST. LOUIS, July 28, 2009 – FOCUS St. Louis is now accepting registrations for the fall program of Experience St. Louis. Offered in partnership with the Regional Chamber and Growth Association, Experience St. Louis is an opportunity for executives who are new to the area and their spouses to get an insider’s look at the region. This well-regarded program is an introduction to the region; its key resource people; and its business, civic, and political culture.

 On Thursday, May 7, FOCUS St. Louis will honor 20 organizations, individuals, and initiatives that have made a profound difference in the St. Louis region. The 12th annual What’s Right with the Region! awards program is an uplifting regional celebration made more meaningful by the fact that awardees come to the stage nominated by citizens from throughout the region. The cocktail reception begins at 5:30 p.m., followed by the awards program from 6:45-8 p.m. KMOV-TV’s Robin Smith will serve as the mistress of ceremonies.

FOCUS St. Louis is seeking nominations for the 2009-2010 Leadership St. Louis (LSL) class. This highly competitive program provides emerging and established leaders with an enhanced awareness of the critical issues facing our region.
