10.   Lots of opportunities to make yourself a leader in STL if u want
11.   The people. We have a connected, involved community. You can't go anywhere without recognizing a friend or acquaintance, and so many people are working to make the STL an even better place.

Crown Candy and Old North St. Louis, two hidden treasures in St. Louis. The Scott Joplin House on Delmar, and home to ragtime.

I second adding the Chess Club. The top level players all rave about the facilities there.

I would also suggest Toasted Ravioli.
