Mary Dee Schmidt joined the staff of FOCUS St. Louis^® in July 2002 as the Director of Youth Leadership Programs. Mary Dee has thirty-five plus years of experience as a teacher, trainer and administrator in a variety of fields including supervising teams, recruiting and training volunteers, designing and facilitating international leadership programs, creating curriculum, and managing programs and budgets. A highly experienced trainer and facilitator, Mary Dee has recruited hundreds of volunteers, scheduled and supervised numerous community wide events, and has worked extensively as a leadership and diversity trainer across the country.
